so, this runs on the lj system but lj itself is dying off (even russians aren't using it anymore) and this is going fine? huh. how 'bout that. anyway, i really love the lj system more than i can tell, so i really hope this place is active enough for me to keep coming back.
but i'll probably just use this as a dump. which is why i like the lj system so much, it's great for dumping.
what i want to do is get really solid at drawing...everything i see irl. first things first. first i get solid at drawing beat-up old trucks and log cabins and mooses, and /then/ i tackle the difficult subjects of spaceships, cathedrals, and giant make-believe animals from outer space.
feel free to rip into any of my scrawlings, but i'd advise not to nitpick on stylization of things that aren't supposed to be realistic. but by all means to pick apart how flat they might look, spatial errors and such. and offer suggestions on how to avoid mistakes next time.
my art's going to be extra horrid because i'm going to step outside of my comfort zone. whenever i do that, which is going to be a lot now, all specialization i had is going out the window. you'll see what i mean.
