okay so i got hit by the loneliness truck again and decided to dump my issues into my character, because they're bland blank slates anyway and i might as well make them suffer like i do...and then live through them via the power of wish fulfillment.

i've never posted art of erik einhorn because there's more than enough horseys on the internet, and uh - i'm not all that great at equines. but okay so our story is dayv's off wandering in the forest to seek out interesting plants and bugs to catalog and he comes upon a body of water with a horribly sad, lonely unicorn wandering around. and the unicorn is extremely happy to see him - but i haven't worked out the uh...stuff. like, there's mostly ordinary people in my paperworld, but there's a fair amount of little robot animal buddies and ghost robot dinosaur love interests, and people don't regard that as being too strange. i guess a unicorn would get reactions of "well that's not something you see everyday". ANYWAY

and so dayv dumps his heavy backpack on the unicorn because he's a bit of a dickweed, but erik is just happy to have some company. however, at this time erik barely speaks english (you see, unicorns speak german. obviously), dayv doesn't speak german, so there's loads of awkward silence.

and that's how dayveed and erik einhorn become friends.
